The international joint-training master programs at Foreign Trade University are designed to meet those requirements. Understanding the difficulties regarding time constraints and finance, the Faculty of International Education has worked with universities in the UK and France to offer students favorable chances to pursue a world-recognized Master’s degree at FTU.

The Post-Graduate Commencement 2023 had the participation of representatives from partner universities: Dr. Paul Bennett, Dean for International – School of Business and Law, University of the West of England (UK); Dr. John Lee – CEO of TMC Academy (Singapore), representative of the University of Sunderland in Vietnam for implementing the joint-training program with Foreign Trade University.

The representatives from FTU include Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien – Vice President, the Heads and Deputy Heads of departments, lecturers of the programs, as well as students’ families. Together, they created a cozy and meaningful atmosphere.

One significant part of the Commencement was the Roundtable sharing when three outstanding students share their stories, thoughts, and feelings about the hardships on their journey to this master’s degree. Their stories are proof that they are all deserving of this degree.

LLM Tran Viet Quan, the valedictorian of the LLM program in International Trade and Economic Law (5^th Cohort) stated that the knowledge gained in his master course is of great use, bringing in many opportunities for his legal consulting job.

All the students expressed their satisfaction with the joint-training master program at Foreign Trade University.

Although their study took place under the serious socio-economic impacts of the Covid pandemic, the students made enormous efforts to achieve such accomplishments. Three high achievers in the programs were honored at the Commencement:

Tran Viet Quan – LLM in International Trade and Economic Law (5^th Cohort), in cooperation with the University of the West of England.

Nguyen Chau Giang – Master in Finance (11^th Cohort), in cooperation with the University of Rennes1 (France)

Nguyen Thuy Duong – Master’s in Business Administration (4^th Cohort), in cooperation with the University of Sunderland (UK)

In his congratulatory remark at the Commencement, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – President of Foreign Trade University concluded that all the masters had made lots of efforts, overcoming obstacles along the journey, and Foreign Trade University is proud of them for all their achievements. The president of FTU has faith that this master’s degree will greatly change them for the better. The degree offers all the advantages for employability: proficient use of English, world-recognized quality education, and a global mindset. Their success is attributed to the continuous support from families, relatives, lecturers, as well as staff from partner universities.

The joint-training master programs at Foreign Trade University not only provided students with wonderful knowledge to support their careers but also broadened their relationship networks, creating special chances for career advancement.
