The “GENIE – Shining Across Continents” Scholarship is reaching its final stage to identify outstanding and talented candidates. Have you completed your application for the GENIE Scholarship 2025?

The GENIE Scholarship Fund was established on May 8, 2023, by Foreign Trade University. The fund aims to encourage students in international joint training programs to achieve excellence in academic study, scientific research, extracurricular and social activities, while inspiring them to explore and develop their creative potential.

I. Eligible Applicants

• High school students applying for the Bachelor’s programs of the Faculty of International Education (FoIE)

• First-year students already enrolled, and second- and third-year regular students in international joint training programs of FoIE in the academic year 2025–2026

II. Application Documents (Online Submission)

1. For high school students and first-year students
   • Scholarship application form and commitment form (PDF scan)

   • High school transcripts of 3 years (PDF scan)
   • Valid English certificate (IELTS or equivalent, PDF scan)
   • Certificates of awards/participation in extracurricular and social activities (PDF scan)
   • Certificates of awards in scientific research, innovation, or entrepreneurship (PDF scan)
   • Self-introduction video in English (maximum 5 minutes, Mp4 H264, minimum HD 1280x720, 25fps, good audio and video quality, appropriate content and attire, showing why you deserve the scholarship)

2. For second- and third-year students
   • Scholarship application form and commitment form (PDF scan)

Notes:
• Students only need to submit the online application for consideration.
• For students who have previously received the GENIE Scholarship, certificates of awards already used cannot be counted for subsequent years.
• Scholarship recipients must later submit notarized copies of transcripts, English certificates, awards, extracurricular and social activity certificates, and scientific research documents at the FIE office.
