On the morning of January 29, 2024, the leaders of Foreign Trade University had a meeting to welcome and work with Curtin University on cooperation between the two schools in implementing the Bachelor of Commerce program majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
On behalf of Curtin University, there were Professor Rob Evans - Dean of the Faculty of Business and International Law, Dr. S Zaung Nau - Coordinator of the Bachelor of Commerce program majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Ms. Monica Wong - Consulting expert global partnerships and Ms. Tiffany Pham - Recruitment Director in Vietnam.
On the side of Foreign Trade University, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien - Vice President; Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Thuy Ngoc - Head of the Faculty of International Education; Associate Professor, Dr. Cao Dinh Kien - Head of Department of International Affairs; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Dat - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Education and specialist in charge of the cooperation program between the two institutions
At the meeting, Professor Rob Evans expressed his joy when visiting Foreign Trade University. Professor Rob Evans introduced that Curtin University is ranked 183rd in the world university rankings (according to QS ranking 2024), in the top 1% of universities in the world that are highly rated for their academics (according to Academic Ranking of World Universities 2022). Currently, in addition to the Headquarters in Perth, Australia, Curtin University also has 4 other campuses in Dubai, Malaysia, Mauritius and Singapore. The city of Perth, where Curtin University's main headquarters is located, is a culturally diverse city, with a diverse community from more than 200 countries, and is Australia's western gateway close to Asian countries. Thanks to the city's position, 30% of Curtin University's students are international students from countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mongolia, China... Mr. Rob Evans also proposed collaborate on additional programs such as research cooperation and lecturer exchange.
