FOIE ATTENDS EDUCATIONUSA 2026 HIGHER EDUCATION NETWORKING EVENT

On 25 September 2026, Ms. Vu Phuong Lan, Vice Dean of the School of International Education (FOIE), Foreign Trade University (FTU), represented the School at the EducationUSA 2026 Higher Education Networking Event, organized by the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam in Hanoi.

The event brought together representatives from U.S. higher education institutions, along with educational leaders, administrators, and representatives from universities and schools in Hanoi. It provided an opportunity for participants to connect, exchange information and experiences, and explore potential partnerships in higher education, contributing to stronger educational cooperation between Vietnam and the United States.

At the event, the representative of the School of International Education had the opportunity to connect with representatives from U.S. universities, gain updates on international education trends, and explore potential opportunities for collaboration in academic programmes, student exchange, and the development of joint programmes.

Notably, the event also helped strengthen connections with U.S. partners currently collaborating with Foreign Trade University, including partners involved in the Bachelor of Business Administration programme. With a flexible study pathway, the programme provides students with opportunities to transfer to Niagara University and Angelo State University in the United States, gain exposure to an international learning environment, and experience U.S. higher education.

Through the programme, students not only develop professional knowledge in business administration but also have opportunities to cultivate a global mindset, enhance their English proficiency, and gain multicultural learning experiences, providing valuable preparation for their future careers in the international business environment.

FOIE’s participation in the EducationUSA 2026 Higher Education Networking Event further demonstrates the School’s commitment to proactively expanding its international partnership network, strengthening cooperation with U.S. educational institutions, and diversifying learning opportunities for students. These efforts contribute to enhancing the quality of education and promoting greater international integration in higher education.
