FOIE ATTENDS WESTERN AUSTRALIAN DINNER RECEPTION: EXPANDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS IN THE FTU - CURTIN UNIVERSITY JOINT PROGRAMME

At the invitation of the Government of Western Australia’s Investment and Trade Office in Vietnam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Dat, Vice Dean of the School of International Education (FOIE), represented the School at the Western Australian Dinner Reception, an event aimed at fostering connections and strengthening cooperation between Vietnamese and Western Australian partners, on the evening of 23 September.

At the event, the School’s representative had the opportunity to meet The Honourable Roger Cook, Premier of Western Australia, and Mr Pham Hai Anh, Consul General of Vietnam in Perth, while also engaging in discussions with representatives from Curtin University on opportunities to further strengthen collaboration in the future.

Notably, the continued expansion of direct air connections between Perth, Western Australia, and Hanoi is expected to provide greater convenience for students in the Curtin University joint programme as they transition to and pursue their studies in Perth.

The School of International Education and Curtin University continue to strengthen their longstanding partnership, with a shared focus on enhancing international learning experiences and expanding global development opportunities for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce – Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme.
