To provide students with more time to register and prepare the best-quality application, the “GENIE – Shining Across Continents” Scholarship has officially extended the application deadline to October 15, 2025.

The GENIE Scholarship Fund was established on May 8, 2023 by Foreign Trade University. The Fund aims to encourage students enrolled in international joint training programs to achieve excellence in academic performance, scientific research, extracurricular and social activities, while inspiring them to explore and develop their creativity and potential.

I. Eligible Applicants

• High school students applying for the Bachelor Programs of the Faculty of International Education.

• First-year students who have been admitted.

• Second- and third-year students enrolled in official international joint training programs in the academic year 2025–2026 of the Faculty of International Education – Foreign Trade University.

II. Required Application Documents (Online Submission)

1. For high school students and first-year admitted students

• Scholarship Application Form and Commitment Letter (PDF scan).

• Valid English proficiency certificate (IELTS or equivalent) (PDF scan).

• Certificates of awards/extracurricular and social activities (PDF scan).

• Certificates of achievements in scientific research or entrepreneurship/innovation (PDF scan).

• Self-introduction video in English (max. 5 minutes, MP4 format – H264, minimum HD 1280x720px, 25fps, with good audio and video quality; appropriate content and attire; should convincingly demonstrate your worthiness for the scholarship).

Notes

• Students are only required to submit the application online for initial consideration.

• For students who have previously received the GENIE Scholarship, awards/certificates already submitted cannot be used for subsequent applications.

• Scholarship recipients will later be required to provide notarized hard copies of transcripts, English certificates, and award/achievement documents to the Faculty Office.
