WELCOME TO THE FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION, FOREIGN TRADE UNIVERSITY

First and foremost, the Faculty of International Education would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all new students and their parents for placing your trust in us and choosing the Faculty of International Education as your partner throughout your university journey at Foreign Trade University.

On the morning of 21 August 2026, Hanoi experienced heavy rainfall. Despite the unfavorable weather, students and their parents still made their way to FTU and attended the university enrollment day in full.

For the Faculty, your presence was about much more than simply completing enrollment procedures. It represented the trust that you and your families have placed in us and your decision to entrust us with the coming years of your university journey. We truly appreciate and are grateful for that trust.

The enrollment day was therefore a particularly meaningful occasion, not only because it marked the official beginning of your journey as students in an International Joint Training Program, but also because it was the first opportunity for the Faculty to meet, welcome, and begin accompanying you and your families on the journey ahead.

During the enrollment session, new students and their parents were introduced to essential information by the Faculty leadership and program coordinators, including matters related to academic life, student activities, and student support services at FTU.

Students also had the opportunity to meet and interact with senior students and members of the Faculty Youth Union. Through these activities, they became more familiar with the learning environment, learned more about the Faculty of International Education, and gained a better understanding of student life at FTU.

In addition to enrollment procedures, the Faculty also introduced new students to opportunities for academic recognition and support throughout their studies, including information about Outstanding Student Awards and the GENIE Scholarship – “Shine Across Five Continents.” These initiatives are designed to encourage students to strive for academic excellence, actively participate in extracurricular activities, and pursue personal development throughout their time at the Faculty.

Another important topic covered during the enrollment day was Health Insurance (HI). The University’s Medical Services team was present to provide consultation, answer questions, and assist students in completing the necessary procedures.

The enrollment day came to an end under the rain, but it also marked the beginning of a new journey.

From today, you are no longer high school graduates preparing to enter university. You are officially students of the Faculty of International Education, Foreign Trade University.

The Faculty would like to thank you and your families for choosing and trusting us. The university years ahead will bring new experiences, challenges, and many memorable moments. The Faculty of International Education is delighted to accompany you throughout this journey.
