Foreign Trade University - Faculty of International Education

Associate Professor Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien welcomed the University of New Brunswick (Canada) students to Foreign Trade University, specifically to the Faculty of International Education. He emphasized that while the two universities have a long history of cooperation in training, this is the first time an internship program has been implemented.

Associate Professor Dr. Tien shared that since Canada and Vietnam are two countries with very different cultures, the interns will have unique cultural experiences and meet many new people.

He also shared that Foreign Trade University is a dynamic and diverse university with enthusiastic and energetic students. It is a place where Western and Eastern cultures intersect, making it an ideal place for internships.

The interns from the University of New Brunswick shared that they chose Foreign Trade University for their internship because of the reputation of cooperation between the two universities and the positive feedback they heard about the university's environment and students. They expressed their excitement and determination to cooperate with the Faculty's work arrangements, to learn new knowledge and experience Vietnamese culture. They hope that through the internship opportunity at the Faculty of International Education, they can contribute to building a friendly cooperation between the two universities. During the meeting, students of the Faculty of International Education and the interns played games together, breaking down barriers and awkwardness of first encounters. The internship period is only three months, but it is hoped that the students will learn new things and love Foreign Trade University and Vietnam.
