STUDENTS FROM INTERNATIONAL JOINT-DEGREE PROGRAMS OF THE SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION ACHIEVE SUCCESS AT THE "VIRTUAL STOCK MARKET COMPETITION 2026"

Recently, a team of students from the international joint-degree programs at Foreign Trade University (FTU) distinguished themselves at the prestigious Virtual Stock Market Competition 2026, earning the Best Investment Insight Video Award after competing against numerous talented teams.

The Virtual Stock Market Competition 2026 is an international academic competition organized by Curtin University (Australia), a globally recognized institution ranked among the top 1% of universities worldwide and placed 174th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2026. This year's competition attracted 84 participants across 18 teams from Curtin University and four partner universities in Vietnam.

Over the course of two weeks, participants competed on StockTrak, an international stock trading simulation platform. Representing Foreign Trade University, the team Recto Verso successfully built an effective investment portfolio and impressed the international judging panel with a well-structured and insightful investment strategy presentation video, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and a solid understanding of financial markets.

The team's achievement was made possible through the collaboration of five students currently enrolled in international joint-degree programs offered by the School of International Education:

• Pham Thi Thu Trang – F-CURTIN-3 – Bachelor of Commerce in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, jointly offered with Curtin University, Australia.

• Nguyen Quang Minh – F-CURTIN-3 – Bachelor of Commerce in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, jointly offered with Curtin University, Australia.

• Nguyen Hoang Trieu Uyen – F-CURTIN-3 – Bachelor of Commerce in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, jointly offered with Curtin University, Australia.

• Dao Van Khoa – F-UOB-15-A – Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Analytics, jointly offered with the University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom.

• Dinh Tue Anh – F-UON-M-7-A – Bachelor of Marketing Management, jointly offered with the University of Northampton, United Kingdom.

This accomplishment is a clear testament to the students' professional competence, critical thinking skills, and global mindset. It also reflects the quality and international standards of education delivered through FTU's international partnership programs.

Throughout the competition, Team Recto Verso received valuable academic guidance from lecturers of the Faculty of Banking and Finance at Foreign Trade University. The team also benefited from the support of industry partners, who provided practical insights into financial markets and investment decision-making.
