On the morning of April 17th, 2023, at the Foreign Trade University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien - Vice President of the University along with Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Dat - Vice Dean of Faculty of International Education welcomed and worked with the delegation from Ming Chuan University (Taiwan), including:

Dr. Chun-Hsuan Wang - Head of the International Trade and Business Program, International College

Dr. Shu-Fei Chang - Head of the Journalism and Mass Communication Program, Ming Chuan University

Ms. Anne Chan, in charge of admissions, the Exchange and International Education Department, Ming Chuan University

The criteria is always for the benefit of the students. Representatives from the two universities have engaged in discussions to enhance the quality of training programs linked with Taiwan. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien particularly focuses on the development and progress of students in all aspects after two years of studying and training at Foreign Trade University.

In response, Dr. Shu-Fei Chang shared that FTU students are very confident and knowledgeable about their majors even as second-year students. Specifically, students majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication creatively develop content channels, media, and can proficiently use two foreign languages, English and Chinese. Meanwhile, students majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management have professional knowledge and experience in the service industry in various positions.

Dr. Chun-Hsuan Wang praised the previous cohort of students. Despite transitioning to a new environment, they adapted quickly, were enthusiastic, and actively participated in community activities.

The meeting concluded Ming Chuan’s visit to the Foreign Trade University on a cheerful note. Both sides shook hands, affirming the close relationship built over 5 years of collaboration in high-quality education.
