IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR APPLICANTS SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS FOR THE JOINT TRAINING PROGRAM WITH CURTIN UNIVERSITY (AUSTRALIA)

Starting from July 1, 2025, the process of “certified translation” in Vietnam will undergo important changes as follows:

The previous concept of “certified translation” will no longer apply. Instead, notaries will only authenticate the translator’s signature on the translated document, confirming that the signature belongs to the person who directly translated the text.

Notary offices will be converted into notary bureaus or dissolved.

Notarization will be carried out in two forms: in-person notarization and electronic notarization.
Therefore, applicants submitting documents after July 1, 2025 must ensure their translated materials (such as academic transcripts, high school diplomas) comply with the new notarization method.
All required documents must still be translated into English and legally authenticated, but now they will follow the updated notarization format.
