Foreign Trade University - Faculty of International Education

Within the framework of UK-Vietnam educational cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thuy Ngoc – Dean of the Faculty of International Education, Foreign Trade University – attended the Vietnam Education Forum 2025. The event was organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BritCham) in coordination with the British Embassy in Vietnam. Ms. Ngoc was one of the panelists for the discussion session "The changing landscape of education in Vietnam and the world."

The forum was attended by His Excellency Iain Frew – British Ambassador to Vietnam, along with representatives from the Ministry of Education & Training, and domestic and international universities and businesses. The event focused on two major themes: the application of AI and digital technology in education, and the internationalization of higher education – trends that are helping to shape the future of education in Vietnam.

In her remarks, Ms. Ngoc emphasized the spirit of Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo (August 22th, 2025) – viewing education as a sector needing breakthroughs. This includes, in particular, perfecting mechanisms and policies to effectively support Vietnamese universities in collaborating with prestigious universities and large foreign enterprises, while also promoting digital-based cross-border training models.

She shared that: “If we are more proactive in connecting – between universities, businesses, and international partners – Vietnamese students will have more opportunities for substantive learning that is linked to global demands.”

With an international orientation and a spirit of continuous innovation, the Faculty of International Education – Foreign Trade University always proactively updates new educational trends, enhances international cooperation, and provides learners with global learning opportunities and experiences.
