Foreign Trade University - Faculty of International Education

On May 27, 2025, Monash University paid an official visit and held a working session with Foreign Trade University. Monash University is a member of the Group of Eight (G8) – an alliance of Australia’s leading research universities. According to the QS World University Rankings 2025, Monash University is currently ranked 42nd globally.

• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien - Vice President
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thuy Ngoc - Dean of the Faculty of International Education
• Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Dat - Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Education

During the working session, Monash University was pleased to announce the completion of compiling and preparing the required documents for launching the joint Bachelor of Finance program with Foreign Trade University. This program leverages the strengths of both institutions, enabling Vietnamese students to access high-quality international education right in Vietnam, with a modern, standardized, and practical curriculum.

In addition to educational cooperation, Monash University also expressed interest in current research topics at Foreign Trade University. The two sides discussed potential collaboration on joint research projects, organizing international scientific conferences, and implementing faculty and scholar exchange programs.

The session took place in a warm, cooperative, and productive atmosphere, opening up many prospects for substantial collaboration between the two universities. This marks an important step in Foreign Trade University’s strategy to internationalize education and affirms the university’s growing reputation and standing in the regional and global education landscape.
