Foreign Trade University - Faculty of International Education

On August 12, 2024, the Faculty of International Education - Foreign Trade University had the honor to attend the 60th National Day Celebration of Singapore, hosted by the Singapore Embassy in Vietnam in Hanoi.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Dat - Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Education - warmly extended congratulations to H.E. Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Singapore to Vietnam, on the significant occasion of Singapore’s National Day. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Dat also expressed deep gratitude to the Singapore Embassy for its wholehearted support in facilitating visa procedures for students of the Bachelor’s Program in Hospitality and Hotel Management who are preparing to transfer to Singapore for their studies in the near future.

Notably, the Faculty’s representative also had the opportunity to take a commemorative photo with Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and his spouse at the event, capturing a memorable moment on this grand occasion.

This event not only helped strengthen the cooperative relationship between Foreign Trade University and the Singapore Embassy but also reaffirmed the vital role of diplomatic missions in connecting, supporting, and creating favorable conditions for international education activities.

The Faculty of International Education takes pride in always receiving strong support from embassies, consulates general, and numerous international organizations both in Vietnam and abroad. This is a great source of motivation for the Faculty to continue developing high-quality joint training programs, producing internationally qualified human resources across diverse fields - from economics, business, and marketing to tourism and hospitality - meeting the growing demands of global enterprises and organizations.
