Foreign Trade University - Faculty of International Education

Doing the Bachelor in Tourism & Hospitality Management run by Foreign Trade University and Nanhua University/ Meiho University (Taiwan), students spend the first 2 years studying in Vietnam and the last 2 in Taiwan. Last week, students of Intake 2 arrived in Taiwan to start their 2 years abroad. The two partner institutions warmly welcomed the students, guided them in the admission procedures, gave them university regulations and assisted them to quickly integrate into the community. Dormitories of the two universities are spacious and fully equipped. After settling in their accommodation, professors of the Faculty took the student to visit the Buddhist center of Southern Taiwan – Fo Guang Shan Temple on the next day.

In Taiwan, students of the program will spend one year in class, and the remaining 1 year practicing at 5-star hotels and restaurants in Taiwan with high salary from $800-1200/month, a high salary for undergraduate students, even higher than the salary of many young workers in Vietnam who had graduated for 2-3 years.

Students of the Faculty of International Education are very fortunate to receive concerns and guidance of professors in 2 years of study at the Foreign Trade University, to be accompanied abroad to start transferring terms and to be provided with good internship opportunities and financial support.

Not only with the Tourism & Hospitality Management program, in the near future, but the Faculty of International Education will also continue to bring more interesting and useful internship programs for students of other majors of the Faculty and for students all over the country.
