There isn't a skilled manager who didn't start by learning the basics. Let's take a look at the steps of first-year students of the Hotel and Restaurant Management program in the Food Culture and Aesthetic course at Maison Vie French Restaurant:

• The influence of culture on cuisine
• World culinary culture and new trends
• Introduction to types of meat and cooking methods
• Skills in using knives, forks, spoons, etc.
• Practice in baking
• Taking orders and menu presentation
• Handling guest complaints

These small experiences are valuable. After the course, students will have 3 months of internships in departments such as Housekeeping, Front Office, and Supervisor in 5-star hotels.
