From 11^th May to 15^th May, the Delegation from FTU led by Assoc. Prof. Dr Dao Ngoc Tien – Vice President in charge of International Education, visited and worked with the Board of Management at Niagara University (U.S.), and attended the Commencement Ceremony of the 2023 Class.

After two years under the impact of Covid pandemic, this is the golden chance to boost cooperation between the two universities, with a view to promoting transfer opportunities to the U.S. for students of joint-training programs at Foreign Trade University.

During the meeting on May 15, 2023, the lecturers at the College of Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management – Niagara University, spared lots of compliments for students transferring from Foreign Trade University. Their dynamism, confidence, and fluent English provide them with a wonderful launching pad to pursue their career path in the Hospitality Industry at Niagara University.

Established in 1968, as the first program in the world to award Bachelor's degree in Tourism, the training program and environment at Niagara University offers students valuable chances to enrich skills and broaden experience required for the management position in the ever-changing field of Hospitality, Sports and Tourism.

The initial successful cooperation between the two Universities in Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management will pave the way for further cooperation in scientific research and human resources development.

The initial successful cooperation between the two Universities in Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management has opened new opportunities in academic training of Business majors, as well as the exchange of lecturers and scientific research. At the MOU signing ceremony, the President of Niagara University expressed his appreciation for the cooperation with Foreign Trade University and proposed an official visit to FTU this October.

This successful business trip brought wonderful cooperation: students of international joint-training programs in Vietnam, majoring in Business Administration, now have a special offer for their pursuit of Bachelor's degrees at Niagara University with a tuition fee from $12,000/ year. After graduation, they can choose to pursue Master's degree at the Ontario Campus of Niagara University in Ontario, Canada, while taking advantage of multiple job opportunities here.
