On November 5, 2022, the delegation from Curtin University (Australia), including Prof. Xiaotian Zhang – Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Vanesssa Chang – Dean of the School of Business – Law, and Dr. Lien Duong – Course lead for the Accounting program, had a meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien – Vice President of FTU and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thuy Ngoc – Dean of the Faculty of International Education.

After two years under the pandemic impacts and border closure policy, Curtin University is placing emphasis on developing joint-training programs. Ranked 193rd in the QS world rankings, Curtin University hope to implement high-quality training programs, meeting international standard with Foreign Trade University.

The trend of globalization and international integration, together with recent socio-political changes has accentuated the role of Logistics and Supply chain management. This is also the major under negotiation between the two universities. Having strength in scientific research and international network, Curtin University expects to cooperate with Foreign Trade University to promote scientific research, exchange of lecturers and students and short-term training courses.

After this meeting, further negotiation will be carried out between the two parties to reach a cooperation agreement in the shortest time possible, opening up new training major for the coming year.
