Foreign Trade University - Faculty of International Education

On August 1, 2023, the Faculty of International Education was invited by the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Vietnam to the Anniversary of 50-year Diplomatic relation, 10-year strategic partnership, and the 58^th Independence Day of Singapore.

After advancing to strategic partners in 2013, the Vietnam – Singapore relationship has witnessed significant development. Especially, there has been strong cooperation in education, strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The Faculty of International Education is implementing a Bachelor's program in Hospitality and Restaurant management, in which students can transfer to TMC Academy (Singapore) in the 3^rd and 4^th year. This is considered an efficient program, as 3^rd-year students are offered a 6-month internship opportunity in Singapore with a salary of USD 800/ month. In the 4^th year, students can continue to study in Singapore or transfer to the UK, Switzerland, and Australia.

The Embassy of the Republic of Singapore has played a supportive role in processing students’ visa applications. The Embassy’s sending representatives to important events at FTU has been of paramount significance in enhancing the University’s image and promoting the training programs.

Also at the Anniversary, FoIE representatives also met with Ambassadors and Diplomatic officers from the U.S., Australia, and Taiwan and discussed the joint training program with universities in those countries.
