GRADUATION CEREMONY OF INTERNATIONAL HOTEL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM – VATEL, 1ST COHORT

In the afternoon of November 10, the Graduation Ceremony of the 1st Intake of the International Hotel Management Program, in cooperation with the Vatel Hotel and Tourism Business School (France) took place in a cozy, emotional and solemn atmosphere at the French Embassy in Vietnam. Present at the Ceremony was Mr. Nicolas Warnery - French Ambassador to Vietnam, Ms. Aline Renard-Wang - International Development Director of Vatel Group, the Board of Management of Foreign Trade University and Managers of partner hotels and restaurants including: IHG, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark 72, Novotel Suites Hanoi, Mgallery, Pan Pacific Hanoi, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, and Maison Vie Restaurant.

Students of the Vatel program shared that the last 3 years has been a journey, an adventure with various emotions: surprise in the first practice sessions, excitement when working at 5-star hotels, fear at the strike of the Covid-19 pandemic, which severely impacted the tourism & service industry. Today, these students have overcome everything and grown up. They deserved this prestigious degree for all their efforts.

Also at this event, there was the MOU signing ceremony between Foreign Trade University and IHG Group on the internship for students of International Hotel Management - Vatel and Hospitality Management major of Foreign Trade University.

The signing of the MOU by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of Foreign Trade University and Mr. Mustafa Denlisoz - HR manager of IHG South East Asia and Korea 

The success of this graduation ceremony for the 1st cohort of the International Hotel Management program - Vatel marks a milestone in the cooperation between FTU and Vatel group. It also signifies the solid position and capability of the Faculty of International Education in providing highly-qualified human resources in the field of Hotel and Restaurant Management for domestic and foreign enterprises, thus improving business competitiveness in the context of international integration.
