After a temporary pause for security system upgrades, the U.S. Embassy and Consulate have officially reopened the scheduling system for F-1 student visa interviews. Students and parents can now resume booking appointments as normal.

Here are a few important things to keep in mind to prepare well for your interview:

- Book your appointment as early as possible on the official website: https://www.ustraveldocs.com/vn. During peak periods, appointment slots may be limited, so being proactive gives you more options.
- Prepare all required documents carefully, including: DS-160 form, I-20, SEVIS payment receipt, admission letter, financial documents, transcripts, and academic records. Being well-prepared will help you stay confident and avoid any omissions on the interview day.
- Review your personal social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.). Make sure there are no posts, photos, or content that could be misunderstood regarding politics, religion, or extreme views.
- Stay calm and answer truthfully and clearly during the interview. Don’t try to memorize answers or make up stories – sincerity, clarity, and logic are always valued.
- Do NOT cancel or reschedule your interview unless absolutely necessary. During peak periods, rescheduling can be difficult and may affect your study abroad timeline.
