  GLOBAL ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIP CONVENTION 2022

From November 11 to November 14, a series of events were organized to strengthen the relationship between the Foreign Trade University and international joint-training partners in the post-Covid context. At the core of the event series was the Global Academic Partnership Convention at FTU Main campus in Hanoi, and there were other side events in Quang Ninh province and the FTU Ho Chi Minh City campus. 

There were 35 representatives (President, Vice President, Chairman, Head of departments, …) from 17 partner universities on 4 continents. During the three sessions of the convention, delegates discussed the challenges faced during and after the pandemic, before giving proposals for post-Covid cooperation. With their enthusiasm and dedication to education, many cooperation plans were put forward, and the delegates all share an educational principle: education is not only aimed at a degree but has to contribute to the creation of global citizens, not only to cultivate knowledge, skills, and attitudes but also to unleash the potential of learners.

More importantly, during the journey through 3 FTU campuses across the country, FTU and partners shared experiences and discussed initiatives for cooperation in the context of Industry 4.0, both short-term and long-term plans.

At the convention, partners’ representatives also delivered their offers to FTU for implementing joint-training courses for high-demand jobs in Vietnam. This move will help provide high-quality human resources for such sectors as logistics, hospitality, Business analytics, and computer science.

The partners highly appreciate the professionalism and dedication of Foreign Trade University in the organization of events, the hospitality of the teachers and leaders of the University, and the confidence and dynamism of the students. The partners also expressed their appreciation for Foreign Trade University's initiative to organize an international education partner conference. The initiative has not only tightened the University's cooperation relationship with partners but also helped the partners build and develop cooperative relationships with each other, creating a sustainable international education cooperation network, together developed.
