FOREIGN TRADE UNIVERSITY WELCOMES THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST OF ENGLAND

On May 12, 2022, Foreign Trade University welcomed a high-ranking delegation from the University of the West of England (UWE) led by Professor Ray Priest – Director in charge of the Asia Pacific region – for visiting and working purposes. After two years of the Covid-19 pandemic, this is a delightful opportunity to meet and discuss the future orientations of the cooperation between the two universities.

According to Times Higher Education rankings, the University of the West of England is among the top 21 best universities in the UK and the top 500 universities worldwide. The success of the Master’s Joint Program in International Trade and Economic Law between Foreign Trade University and the University of the West of England is the clearest indicator of the two universities’ 7-year relationship.

During the discussion, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Dao Ngoc Tien, Vice President of Foreign Trade University, emphasized that one of the significant points that Foreign Trade University’s international training activities should focus on in the short term is expanding the scope of collaboration with prestigious partners worldwide. Moreover, as a result of the meeting, the two universities discussed the opportunity to implement joint-undergraduate programs, doctoral education programs, and collaborative research projects. The two universities have decided to continue sharing and working closely to accomplish the necessary legal procedures for the upcoming educational programs. All of the efforts aim for high-quality programs to meet the actual labor demands in the current socio-economic environment.
