CONFERENCE OF TRAINING PARTNERS IN TOURISM AND HOTEL

Over the past two years, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam's tourism and hotel industry is facing unprecedented difficulties. The tourism market and tourism activities are broken and stagnant, leading to deviating from the growth trajectory. The year 2022 starts with the context that the epidemic is gradually being controlled, the hotel tourism industry, as well as the national economy, is now gradually overcoming a difficult period. In the wake of the wave of global opening, this is a special opportunity for the industry to meet the large-scale tourism and hotel demand.

As a training unit, using the motto "Different to lead" as a guideline, Foreign Trade University is deeply aware of its role as a bridge between businesses and learners, especially in the field of Tourism Management, International Hotel. In order to create projects that bring practical value such as projects to restore and develop the tourism - hotel industry, the close connection of 3 parties (academic, research sector; businesses; authorities) capacity) is extremely important.

Currently, Foreign Trade University has 2 international joint training programs with partners Vatel (France) and Niagra (USA) in the field of Hotel, Tourism & Restaurant Management, and provides student resources. High quality is currently working in this field at famous corporations and hotels across the country. The school's training partners include Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Pan Pacific Hanoi, JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark 72, Sheraton Hanoi Hotel… These two programs are implemented at the Faculty of International Education - University Foreign Trade Campus Hanoi and ICCC Center - Campus 2 Foreign Trade University of Ho Chi Minh City.

To strengthen the relationship between the University and the Enterprise, and at the same time re-evaluate the quality of students who are interns at hotels, explore more about the expectations and needs of employers and outline cooperation plans in the near future, Foreign Trade University will organize a Conference of Training Partners in the field of Tourism and Hospitality on March 30, 2022. The program was held at 15:30 at Sheraton Saigon Hotel, and was attended by a large number of training partners of the University.

This is an important event, in order to connect and evaluate the overall input quality and output demand of the tourism and hotel industry, from which to build effective cooperation and training plans, high efficiency between Schools and Businesses, towards the development of sustainable hotel tourism in the digital era.
