CAREER TALK: DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

On the afternoon of March 22, the Faculty of International Education successfully organized the career talk: "Development Opportunities in the Hospitality Industry", through which connecting Foreign Trade University students with hotels' HR directors and departments. The event boasted distinguished speakers from leading hotels: Ms. Dang Thi Thanh Tu - Director of JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi & Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong - Human Resources Manager of Sheraton Hanoi Hotel.

The event also hosted distinguished guests: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thuy Ngoc - Dean of the Faculty of International Education, Dr. Bui Thu Hien - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, together with a large number of teachers and students from Foreign Trade University.

With the motto "Leading by differentiation", the Faculty of International Education always make great efforts to allow students to get exposure and learn from practice, to obtain competitive edges for future employment.

During the talk show, the speakers shared interesting lessons drawn from many years of working experience at a 5-star hotel and emphasized the importance of a high-quality workforce. Along with the rapid development of JW Marriott Group currently, within the next 3 years, the group will need about 300 senior management positions.

This is welcome news for students who are passionate about this profession to learn and focus on career development.
